Test your antivirus skills

Basically, antivirus as the name implies protects,detects.eliminates, assassinates, kills + add whatever adjective you want. Well, to make my long explaination short - antivirus are softwares used to protect computer from viruses, malicious scripts, and other malwares. My post for today is a simple antivirus self test to see if the antivirus youre using detects potential malwares.This is not a application actually, but this is a good tool to see if your antivirus is working. Let's begin..

Save it as "eicar.com", If your antivirus stops you from saving it, don't panic and act like nuts, that only means your antivirus is working.

(Authors note: Congratz!! you just made your very first harmfull virus, your on your way on making notable viruses, lol)

Don't worry about it. People from European Institute for Computer Anti-virus Research (EICAR) manage to program all antivirus softwares to recognize this code as a threat. (even tough it's completely harmless).
